Air Travel
The nearest airport is Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) Marshall Airport. The airport is about 10 miles from the Baltimore Convention Center and downtown Baltimore.

Light Rail
- The Marshall Light Rail Station is located immediately outside the lower level of the terminal building, adjacent to Concourse E.
- To travel to the Convention Center, take the North bound train to the “Convention Center” stop.
- The trip to/from downtown Baltimore takes about 30 minutes and charges a one-way fare of $1.60 or day pass fare of $3.50.
- The first train of the day arrives at BWI at 4:59am on weekdays, 5:10am on Saturday, and 10:40am on Sunday. The last train departs BWI at 12:40am on weekdays and Saturday, and 8:40pm on Sunday.
- Purchase a ticket from the ticket vending machine before boarding the Light Rail. Tickets are not available onboard.

Taxi
The taxi stand is located just outside of the baggage claim area of the lower level of the BWI Marshall Terminal. The approximate one way taxi fare from BWI Marshall Airport to the Convention Center and downtown Baltimore is $35 before gratuity.
Baltimore Yellow Cab (410-685-1212) offers a $30 flat rate (regardless of the number of passengers) from downtown Baltimore to BWI Marshall Airport.

BWI Marshall Airport has a rental car facility located at Stoney Run Road and New Ridge Road. Their free shuttle service takes customers to/from the airport and car rental facility, and runs approximately every 10 minutes. The shuttle ride takes about 10 minutes, and is located in the lower level terminal.

Situated just east of the Inner Harbor, it has one of the city’s busiest restaurant districts. It is so named because of the large number of Italian immigrant families that moved into the area during the 20th century. The neighborhood is still home to a large and active Italian ethnic community.

The National Aquarium, Baltimore is a non-profit public aquarium in the Inner Harbor area of Baltimore, Maryland in the United States. The Aquarium has a collection of 16,500 specimens representing 660 species. The National Aquarium houses several exhibits including the Upland Tropical Rain Forest, a multiple-story Atlantic Coral Reef, an Open Ocean shark tank, and Australia: Wild Extremes. The aquarium also has a 4D Immersion Theater. The aquarium currently holds nine Atlantic bottlenose dolphins.

The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore (formerly The Baltimore Zoo) is a zoo located in Druid Hill Park in Baltimore, Maryland. Home to over 2,000 animals, the zoo is generally considered to be the third oldest zoological park in the United States, having opened in 1876. In 2008, the zoo was featured in America’s Best Zoos 2008. Maryland Zoo in Baltimore is active in many conservation programs, notably the Mountain Gorilla Veterinary Program and Project Golden Frog; it is the zoo that breeds the greatest number of African black footed penguins. It also helps rehabilitate local wildlife, especially birds of prey such as bald eagles.

The historic vessels and landmarks of this museum bring to life the history of American naval power. The US Coast Guard Cutter Taney (only surviving warship in Pearl Harbor), USS Torsk (fired last two torpedoes in World War II), the lightship Chesapeake (served as floating lighthouse for 40 years) and the Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse (helped sailors navigate Chesapeake Bay for 133 years) all played a vital and heroic role in US military war and peacekeeping.

The Edgar Allan Poe House and Museum is the former home of American writer Edgar Allan Poe in the 1830s. Now open as a museum, the small unassuming structure is a typical row home, and also houses the Edgar Allan Poe Society of Baltimore. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1972.
