Career Fair

The Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing Career Fair provides GHC attendees with the opportunity to meet and interview with leading high tech companies, research laboratories, government agencies and universities.  All attendees will receive a Job Book that describes the organizations, the type of positions they are looking to fill, and other relevant information for job seekers.

Companies will be reviewing resumes submitted to the Resume Database prior to GHC and scheduling interviews during the Career Fair.  Be sure to submit your resume soon to maximize your visibility.

Attendees are encouraged to download and review the Job Book prior to attending the Grace Hopper Celebration.  Bring plenty of resumes with you to the career fair to distribute to companies you are interested in.

The Career Fair is open to all Grace Hopper Celebration attendees.

Resume Clinic

Resume Clinic is a unique opportunity for Grace Hopper Celebration attendees to have their resumes edited and polished by industry and academia professionals. A strong resume can open the door to a wide array of career opportunities. Come learn about how to make a great first impression, distinguish yourself from other applicants and increase your chances of getting the job that you want.

You can register for the Resume Clinic as part of the Grace Hopper Celebration registration process. When you register you will be assigned a time slot – simply come to the Resume Clinic at the time assigned. The Clinic is staffed by HR professionals, hiring managers and University recruiters who will provide feedback on resumes for internships, PhD. Programs, graduates applying for their first jobs and mid and senior level technologists. All discussions are one-on-one and confidential.

Bring to the Resume Clinic two paper copies of your current resume for editing purposes. Slots are assigned on a first come first serve basis.
