Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel your registration, a processing fee will apply.
- 10% processing fee through October 1, 2007
- 50% processing fee on or after October 2, 2007
- No refund after October 10, 2007
Substitutions are allowed at no charge, but must be made by October 8, 2007.
Conference Location and Hotel
The Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing 2007 will be held at the Hilton, located in the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort, 1751 Hotel Plaza Boulevard, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830. The Hilton is offering a special rate of $169 single/double occupancy to GHC attendees. UPDATED OCT.11: Additional rooms have been made available! Reserve online now.
Alternate accommodations: The Courtyard Orlando in the Marriott Village at Lake Buena Vista is located at 8623 Vineland Avenue, Orlando, FL 32821 and is less than 1 mile from the Hilton. They are offering a special rate for GHC attendees: $149 per night for up to 4 people plus shuttle service to the conference site. Reserve by September 28 to guarantee rate and room availability. Air Travel
The nearest airport is the Orlando International Airport (MCO), which is served by a variety of airlines. Discount fares can usually be found on sites such as Travelocity or Orbitz.
Ground Transportation
From Orlando International Airport (MCO), distance to the Hotel is 15 miles and drive time is approximately 25 minutes.

Bus Service: $17 USD

Taxi: $50 USD
Mears Shared Shuttle (Mears Transportation Group) offers shared rides from/to the airport. Waiting times at the airport can be up to 45 minutes. It will take 30-45 minutes to reach the hotel, depending on traffic. For the return trip from the hotel to the airport, you will be asked to schedule transportation 3 hours before your return flight.
