So, You Want to be a CEO? (Please Note this is a 2-Hour Session)
The objective is to provide young women in industry and academia insight into what it takes to be CEO, and also what to consider as they contemplate this career choice.
The panel provides a relatively informal conversation with several people who have been successful in a CEO role, and includes one panelist that is still deciding whether or not to take on the challenge.
Topics that we will discuss include:
- When did you first decide that you wanted to be a CEO?
- What advice do you have for women who are considering what it would take to become a CEO?
- From your perspective of today, what questions should I be considering as part of my career planning?
- As you reflect back from today’s perspective, what were the biggest surprises along the way?
