David Moore: Biography
“An aversion to inactivity” is a trait that has been used to describe David Moore, Creative Director and Principal of Equinox Design Consultants and illustrator of this year’s artwork. Schooled at Grant MacEwan College (GMC) and the Alberta College of Art and Design, Moore believes that his eclectic mix of life experiences has helped shape a career that has included all forms of print work and television in markets including his Canadian home and as far-flung as Great Britain and Australia. He is a pilot and aviation enthusiast, a community activist, a performing musician and a teacher of design and illustration at GMC. Moore feels that his approach to art is one that is “surehanded, informed, consistently dedicated and able.”
